Consideration on the old policy of physical examination

After the death of candidates in the recruitment of Jharkhand Excise Constable, there is a proposal to change the policy of physical efficiency test. The State Police Headquarters has made a proposal to change the rule of 10 km race. It will be sent to the state government soon. New appointments will be made on the basis of changed rules of physical efficiency.

Currently, a 10 km race is conducted for Jharkhand Police and Excise constables. Earlier, in the physical test, one had to run 1600 meters in six minutes, after this there was a test of long and high jump. On this basis the merit list was prepared. But in the year 2016, the policy was changed and a rule was made to complete the 10 km race in one hour. A rule of written test for the youth who passed in this was also made. Police Headquarters has now proposed to implement the rule of completing the 1600 meter race in six minutes, and including long and high jump in the physical test as before.
