Apologised to his wife, also shared password and bank details; then the engineer jumped down from the 15th floor in Noida

An IT engineer committed suicide on Tuesday by jumping from the balcony of a flat on the 15th floor of Panchsheel Pratishtha Society in Sector-75, Noida. The police have not found any suicide note from the deceased. To find out the reason behind the suicide, the police of Sector-113 police station has taken the body into custody. The family members of the deceased have also been informed about the incident.

ACP Shaivya Goyal said that 36-year-old Pankaj lived with his wife and child in flat number 1508 of tower number eight of Panchsheel Pratishtha Society. Pankaj committed suicide by jumping from the 15th floor around 3 pm on Tuesday evening. Hearing the sound of someone falling, the security guards of the society rushed to the spot, but by then Pankaj had died.

Pankaj was an IT engineer in a company located in Sector-126. Police is investigating the footage of CCTV cameras installed inside the society. At the time of the accident, Pankaj’s wife had gone to Jalandhar. His wife has also been informed about the incident. She has left for Noida.

Apologized to wife by mail

It is being told that Pankaj had also communicated with his wife through messages and mails before the incident. In the mail, Pankaj has given his laptop, password and bank related information to his wife. The engineer has also apologized to his wife for committing suicide. There was blood spread all around at the place where the IT engineer fell from a height. Till now no complaint has been lodged in the concerned police station by the deceased’s side in this matter. According to the local people, Pankaj was also taking depression medicine for the past few days. He was originally from Jalandhar, Punjab.
