Despite the anti-incumbency wave, many current ministers and MLAs got tickets
In the first list of 67 candidates of BJP, the party has cut the tickets of many sitting MLAs and defeated MLAs, who were seen to be active in their respective constituencies. However, tickets have been given to many such sitting ministers and MLAs, against whom there is an anti-incumbency wave in their area. The survey report had stated the poor condition of these ministers and MLAs, despite this they managed to get the ticket.
