BJP released a revised list of 15 candidates in Jammu and Kashmir, withdrew 29 names

BJP has released a revised list of 15 candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. This list includes the seats where voting will take place in the first phase. Earlier, BJP had announced 44 names this morning, but later it was withdrawn and a list of 15 candidates was released again. In this way, the party has withdrawn the names of 29 candidates, who were announced for the second and third rounds. The first round of voting is to be held in Jammu and Kashmir on 18 September. BJP has released a revised list and said that only this should be considered valid. Apart from this, the list of candidates for the second and third phases released earlier should be considered invalid.

The list was released in the morning after the Central Election Committee meeting which went on till late Sunday night. Now it is being said that there were some problems in it and it was released in a hurry. After this, a fresh list was released. Now after a fresh consideration, the second and third round list will be released, in which some changes can also be made. At the same time, there is no change in the list of 15 candidates of the first round. It includes the same names which were kept in the list released earlier. Apart from PM Narendra Modi, party president JP Nadda, many senior leaders and many senior leaders of Jammu and Kashmir BJP were also present in the meeting held on Sunday. Former Deputy CM Nirmal Singh did not get a chance in this list of BJP. Apart from this, Ravindra Raina and Kavinder Gupta were also not given a place.

Prominent names in BJP’s list include Arshid Bhat from Rajpora. Javed Ahmed Qadri from Shopian and Mohammad Rafiq Wani from Anantnag West. Advocate Syed Wajahat got the ticket from Anantnag seat. Shagun Parihar has been given a chance from Kishtwar seat. Now the heartbeat of all these people must have increased, whose names were included in the first list declared for the second and third phase. It is possible that some more names may be added to these in the revised list to come and some people may be dropped.
