The ruling BJP of the state has released its second list of candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections. 21 candidates have been given tickets in this. The BJP had announced 67 candidates in the first list. Now the candidates for two seats are yet to be announced. It was believed that the party would field candidates on all the remaining 23 seats today but this could not happen.
In the new list, the party has fielded Pawan Saini from Narayangarh, while Devendra Kaushik has been nominated from Ganaur. The BJP has fielded Captain Yogesh Bairagi against Congress candidate and Olympian Vinesh Phogat in Julana.
Apart from these, the BJP has given tickets to Satpal Jamba from Pundri, Krishna Gehlawat from Rai, Yogendra Rana from Assandh, Pradeep Sangwan from Baroda, Krishna Kumar Bedi from Narwana, Baldev Singh Mangiana from Dabwali, Manish Grover from Rohtak, Amir Chand Mehta from Ellenabad, Om Prakash Yadav from Narnaul, Krishna Kumar from Bawal, Bimla Chaudhary from Pataudi, Naseem Ahmed from Ferozepur Jhirka, Sanjay Singh from Nuh, Ajaz Khan from Punhana, Manoj Rawat from Hathin, Harinder Singh Ramratan from Hodal, Dhanesh Adhalkha from Badkhal.
The party has changed the candidate from Pehowa. Now Jai Bhagwan Sharma has been given the ticket from there. Earlier in the first list, Kawaljit Singh Ajarana was made the candidate from Pehowa but due to strong opposition, Kawaljit Singh Ajarana left the field. On Tuesday itself, Ajarana had informed the BJP state president about this. Let us tell you that 12 September is the last date for nomination. Voting is to be held on all 90 assembly seats of the state on 5 October, while the results will come on 8 October.
