Fare of new Vande Bharat fixed, booking started, PM Modi will flag it off virtually today

UP will get another Vande Bharat train from tomorrow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off the Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat train on Saturday. Regular operations of this train will start from Sunday. Railways have released the list of train fares. Passengers will be able to travel comfortably from Meerut to Lucknow by train for Rs 1355. While the fare from Lucknow to Meerut has been fixed at Rs 1300. However, there will be a difference in the fare on both sides because of catering charges. Vande Bharat train has 439 seats including executive class.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Meerut City-Lucknow Vande Bharat Special Express through video conferencing. The train will be flagged off from Meerut station in the afternoon. The formal operation of the train will begin from Sunday, September 1. The railways have released the fare of the train. Passengers will be able to enjoy the Meerut-Lucknow journey in the air-conditioned Vande Bharat for Rs 1355. The fare in the executive class in the train (22490) leaving from Meerut on September 2 has been fixed at Rs 2415.

The fare from Meerut to Moradabad in chair car will be Rs 610 and from Moradabad to Lucknow Rs 1160. The fare of Vande Bharat train leaving from Lucknow on 1st September to Meerut will be Rs 1300 in chair car. In the same class, the fare from Lucknow to Moradabad will be Rs 880 and from Moradabad to Meerut Rs 710. While the fare from Moradabad to Bareilly will be Rs 550 in chair car and Rs 980 in EC.

Senior DCM Aditya Gupta says that Vande Bharat train will arrive at 2:30 from Meerut to Moradabad. The train will be sent to Bareilly with a welcome program. A welcome program has also been organized for the train in Bareilly. The regular operation of the train will start from Sunday.
