Android Headlines leak Google has revealed the codename for the Pixel lineup of 5 smartphones next year. Leading the lineup is the Pixel 9a, codenamed Tegu. The mid-range category smartphone may arrive around Google I/O in May. It can be expected to offer all the new Pixel phone hardware and software features at a more affordable price.
It has also suggested what we can expect to see in the Pixel 10 series. The leak has revealed that Google will offer two sizes of Pro smartphones for its next lineup. The Pixel 10 model is reportedly codenamed Frankel while the Pixel 10 Pro model is codenamed Blazer. The biggest Pro that will come with these will be XL, which will be codenamed Mustang. It is worth noting that it has also revealed the codename Rango for the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s upgraded foldable smartphone.
However, nothing is known about the features of the smartphone yet. It can be expected that the upcoming phone will be based on the next generation Tensor chip, Tensor G5, which will be manufactured by TSMC. 2025 is the 10th anniversary of the Pixel phone, so it can be expected that Google will come with the Pixel 10 series. It is worth noting that at the moment this is just a leak. Until there is an official announcement from Google, nothing can be said clearly about the features and specifications.
