Pakistan lost the test match against Bangladesh on its own soil. After this, reactions of former cricketers of the Pakistan team have come to the fore and they have reprimanded their team. Despite declaring the first innings, Pakistan’s team lost by 10 wickets. Bangladesh defeated Pakistan for the first time in test cricket. While reviewing this match, former Pakistan wicketkeeper batsman Kamran Akmal has blamed the previous mistakes of the players and team management for this defeat and said that this is a matter of shame at the global level.
Kamran Akmal said on his YouTube channel, “It was because (Mohammad) Rizwan scored 50 (in the second innings) and got the scoreboard moving, otherwise we would have lost by an innings. This is such a bad defeat that it will not be forgotten. If you think bad about someone, bad things will happen to you. You have not learnt anything in the last 5 years. You lost to Zimbabwe. Last year you were out of the Asia Cup. Now you have been humiliated so much in the World Cup, Pakistan cricket has become a joke globally.” The new Test team captain Shan Masood has lost four consecutive Test matches under his captaincy.
The former wicketkeeper congratulated the Bangladesh players and said, “It was a tough time for Bangladesh but their batsmen scored runs. They had to save the Test and they not only did that but also won the match. They basically exposed Pakistan cricket. And our players were batting like club cricketers. Sorry, even club cricketers don’t play like that. The approach was bad. The players were laughing in the dressing room, there was no seriousness because they knew no one would ask anything. It seems like you are playing for fun.”
