India has successfully tested its hypersonic missile. DRDO successfully tested this missile on Saturday from Abdul Kalam Island located off the Odisha coast. This missile can attack over long distances. The test will further strengthen the country’s defense infrastructure. The hypersonic missile has been developed in collaboration with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex Laboratory, Hyderabad and other partners associated with DRDO.

Talking about the features of hypersonic missile, it can destroy any trace of the enemy even 1.5 thousand kilometers away. It has been designed to carry different payloads. It has been designed in such a way that all armed forces will be able to use the missile. During the test the missile was tracked with different range systems. The results confirmed its powerful attack and accurate aiming. DRDO has also shared the video of the missile test on social media platform X.

India’s hypersonic missile can fly 5 times faster than the speed of sound. Its minimum speed is also said to be 6174 kilometers per hour. The special thing is that this missile is equipped with cruise and ballistic features. It is almost impossible for the enemy to stop them. Due to their extreme speed they can also dodge radar.

After the successful test of hypersonic missile, India has joined the two which have such firepower. There are only five countries in the world which have the power of hypersonic missile. These include America, Russia, China, France and India. Due to the successful test, Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and DRDO Chairman Sameer V Kamat congratulated the entire team.
