Delhi Police is investigating the video call clip of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in which he demanded huge extortion money from a businessman. A case has been registered against Lawrence Bishnoi in this matter.
Delhi Police is investigating the alleged video call clip of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, in which he demanded extortion from a businessman. Police sources said that this video call was made in May last year. This was done when the owner of the restaurant and travel company was on a trip to Dubai with his family. After this incident, a complaint was lodged by the businessman against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in the Special Cell of Delhi Police.
In this three-minute video clip, Lawrence Bishnoi keeps asking the businessman, do you want to see a miracle? In response, the businessman says, I do not want to see any miracle. Police said that the authenticity of this video clip is being investigated. The complaint states that on May 22, 2023, the businessman received a call in which the person introduced himself as Lawrence Bishnoi. On this, the businessman asked if he was really Bishnoi, then the gangster disconnected the call and made a video call to him.
The FIR states that Lawrence Bishnoi threatened the businessman and demanded Rs 2.5 crore from him as extortion. The businessman returned to India on May 30. He said that he kept getting calls from Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang member Goldie Brar. Goldie Brar is said to be in the US. Bishnoi’s name had also cropped up along with jailed gangster Hashim Baba in connection with the murder of gym operator Nadir Shah (35) in Greater Kailash area of South Delhi on September 12.
Sources said that the police suspect that Nadir Shah was killed because he was trying to intervene in a case related to the businessman. Let us tell you that more than two dozen cases of threat, extortion, murder and attempt to murder are registered against Lawrence Bishnoi. He is also accused of being involved in the conspiracy to murder Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. So far seven people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Nadir Shah. However, the two shooters who shot him outside the gym are out of the police’s reach.
