Just as the Odisha government is going to give Rs 15 lakh each to the players, Hockey India will also give the same amount to the players. However, Hockey India has decided to give Rs 7.5 lakh each to the support staff. At the same time, the Odisha government announced Rs 10 lakh each.
After winning the bronze medal in Paris Olympics, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has announced that every player of the bronze medal winning team will be given Rs 15 lakh as a reward, while the government has decided to give Rs 10 lakh to each member of the support staff. At the same time, the state government will give Rs 4 crore to Odisha player Amit Rohidas.
