Mother kept calling, Maulvi kept misleading; How a five year old innocent was murdered in a madrasa

In the Dayalpur madrasa, a five-year-old boy named Rohaan was beaten to death for demanding leave. This incident was carried out brutally by two minors. In this sensational case, serious questions are being raised on the madrasa administration and its maulvi.

Rohan’s family’s direct question is where was the Maulvi at the time of the incident? Also, why was the family not informed about the incident immediately after it happened. The family has demanded strict action against the Maulvi and the accused.

Deceased Rohaan’s mother Nazeen Khatoon told that when she called to talk to her son on Friday morning, the Maulvi first said that he was out. After this, he kept making various excuses including taking rest. She was not allowed to talk to her son till 6 in the evening. After this, she was called and informed about the matter at around 6.30 in the evening. When she reached the spot, initially she was not allowed to meet her son. When those people forcibly entered inside, she saw that her son was lying dead. The family alleges that their son died because of the Maulvi. The Maulvi kept misleading them again and again when they asked about their son.

North East District Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Joy Tirkey said that the information about the death of the innocent was received through a PCR call at around 9.52 pm on Friday night. After the information, the police reached Madrasa Taleem ul Quran located at A-2 on the main Brijpuri road in Babu Nagar, Dayalpur. During the investigation, the deceased was identified as a five-year-old child. His family lives in slum number-854, Cement Seeding, Shankar Basti, Saraswati Vihar, Punjabi Bagh. Apart from the father and mother, the family has a 10-year-old elder brother and an eight-year-old elder sister.

Investigation revealed that the head of the madrasa is Haji Din Mohammad and about 250 children study in the madrasa. Out of these, 150 children are from outside Delhi, mainly from Uttar Pradesh. The mother of the deceased told the police that she had sent her son to the madrasa about five months ago.

People showed anger

When the mother of the child reached the madrasa with the dead body, a huge crowd gathered around. The woman kept the dead body of the child outside the madrasa and demanded action against the responsible madrasa administration. Along with the woman, the local people were very angry about the death of the child and also protested by keeping the dead body of the child. During this time, many other parents reached the madrasa and they took their children from the madrasa. The police reached the spot on information and dispersed the crowd and pacified the matter. The officials assured to take strict action.

Killing an innocent for a holiday

Let us tell you, three minors in a madrasa beat a five-year-old innocent to death with the sole intention that if the child dies, the madrasa will be closed. The deceased was identified as five-year-old Rohan. The accused who carried out the crime include two 11-year-old minors and a nine-year-old minor. Regarding this incident, North East District Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Joy Tirkey said that the accused said that Rohan had abused them. After this, the three made a plan that if the child dies, the madrasa will be closed. The police have taken the three accused into custody and are interrogating them.

Bleeding occurred inside the stomach. Serious injury marks and wounds were found on the neck, stomach and lower abdomen of the deceased. The postmortem report revealed serious injuries in the liver and lungs and bleeding inside the stomach. The police have received the footage of the CCTV cameras of the concerned madrasa. A case of murder has been registered against the accused. Action will be taken under that. After investigating with the help of the footage, the police is interrogating other children of the madrasa.

All the three accused are residents of Delhi. All the three minors who committed the brutal murder in the madrasa are residents of Delhi. The first 11 year old minor is a resident of Madanpur Khadar area located in Kalindi Kunj Phase 3. While the other two minor accused aged 11 and 9 years are residents of Ramesh Park located in Laxmi Nagar, East Delhi.
