There seems to be a new conspiracy brewing within the Chautala family for the Haryana assembly elections. It can be said that this has started with the Jannayak Janata Party throwing the political dice. JJP has announced to support former power minister Ranjit Chautala, who is contesting as an independent from Rania after rebelling against the BJP. In return, Ranjit Chautala will support JJP candidate and Dushyant Chautala’s brother Digvijay Chautala, who is contesting from Dabwali. Digvijay Chautala is Ranjit Chautala’s grandson. In this way, amazing electoral equations are being formed in the state.
This time INLD leader Abhay Chautala has fielded his son Arjun Chautala from Rania seat to corner independent candidate uncle Ranjit Singh. He also strengthened his party by getting Aditya Chautala to join INLD from BJP, but now JJP supremo has found a solution to this. He supported his uncle Ranjit Singh Chautala in Rania while Ranjit Singh Chautala supported JJP candidate and his grandson Digvijay Chautala in Dabwali. Now Ajay Chautala and Ranjit Chautala have come together, but the other camp of Chautala family is opposing them.
Grandfather and grandson of Chautala family are contesting against each other from Rania Vidhansabha. Ranjit Chautala is contesting as an independent candidate against his grandson after his ticket was cut after he was the power minister in BJP government. Arjun Chautala, son of INLD leader Abhay Chautala is contesting against Ranjit Chautala. Ranjit Chautala said that Arjun is my grandson and is contesting against me, but contesting elections in our family does not spoil family relations. He is contesting, let him fight but he is not going to win.
Uncle and nephew are in the electoral fray from Dabwali
If we talk about Dabwali assembly seat, it has been the seat of Chautala family. Digvijay’s mother Naina Chautala has won the election from here for two consecutive times. This time Digvijay Chautala is in the electoral fray. Digvijay is contesting against his own uncle Aditya Chautala. Aditya Chautala was in BJP for 10 years but when BJP cut his ticket, he became a rebel. Now he is in the electoral fray against his nephew on INLD ticket. Aditya Chautala is getting the support of INLD leader Abhay Chautala and Punjab’s Badal family.
Aditya Chautala has left BJP and joined INLD
Aditya Chautala is the son of Chaudhary Devi Lal’s youngest son Jagdish Chautala. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2014. In 2019, the BJP government made him the chairman of the State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Limited. Recently, Aditya Chautala resigned from this post and joined INLD. He is the cousin of Abhay Chautala. INLD had declared Aditya Chautala as the party’s candidate from Dabwali.
