Addressing the media at his party office, Naidu said that cleaning is necessary after whatever has happened in the temples. He said that after the allegations of adulteration of Tirupati laddus with animal fat, the government will consult saints, priests and other top experts of Hinduism about its next steps.
Along with this, CM Naidu alleged that his previous Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy used temples for his political gain and appointed his close ones to high positions in the temple trusts.
This matter came into the limelight when CM Naidu accused the previous government and said that during their rule, animal fat was used in the prasad distributed in Tirupati temple.
