The girl was missing for three days
According to the information, the minor’s mother had lodged a complaint in Dugda police station last Friday that her daughter had been missing for two days. Meanwhile, during the search, the girl was recovered from the house of a garbage picker belonging to the minority community in Dugda by the local villagers and family members. And this news spread like wildfire in no time.
Road blocked for hours
Hundreds of angry villagers including BJP and Bajrang Dal gathered and blocked the Dhanbad-Bokaro main road near Vinod Bihari Mahato Chowk in Dugda for hours demanding legal action against the accused. Due to the road jam, there was a queue of two-wheelers, four-wheelers and passenger vehicles. Pedestrians had to face a lot of problems.
The road blockade was removed after the Dugda police assured to take legal action after investigation. The body was found floating near the Damodar bridge between Bhandaridih-Tantri under Chandrapura police station area. Divers from Khetko of Petarwar police station area were continuously engaged. It is known that the girl had come alone on a scooty that day. She had left the scooty with the keys on the bridge and jumped into the middle of Damodar. The father, who arrived on the information of Bermo police, had told that on that day all the people of the house were going to Sai temple located in Sector 6 of Bokaro. At the same time, the daughter had left with the scooty. However, he was talking to the daughter on the mobile. After the daughter’s mobile suddenly went off in the afternoon, he started searching on his own in the Chas-Bokaro area. The girl was the youngest among one brother and two sisters. The elder sister got married three years ago in Delhi. The younger brother’s name is Manish Kumar Baranwal.
