At the same time, Congress has said that Tushar Goyal has already been expelled from the party.
Trivedi said in a press conference on Thursday that drugs worth Rs 5600 crore have been recovered in Delhi. This quantity is important because during the UPA regime, drugs worth Rs 768 crore were recovered between 2006 and 2013. Between 14 and 22, the BJP government has seized drugs worth Rs 22 thousand crores. Referring to the recovery of drugs in Delhi, he said, ‘The main accused is Tushar Goyal, he is the chief of the RTI cell of the Indian Youth Congress. It is a very serious matter. Now it is becoming clear that till now the items of hatred were visible in Rahul Gandhi’s love shop, now the items of intoxicants have also started being available.
Trivedi said that Tushar Goyal was appointed in the Indian Youth Congress on March 24, 2022. Showing some photographs, he said that there are also photographs of Deependra Hooda and KC Venugopal ji. Apart from this, Deependra Hooda ji’s number has also been found from his phone. Trivedi said that the country has the right to know what is the relation of Tushar Goyal with Congress. He said, ‘We have some questions. If the money that has been recovered is from the involvement of a Congress official in drug smuggling, has the money been recovered before also, Congress should answer this. Was it not going to be used for elections? Did the Congress Party make any kind of compromise in making a drug mafia a party official?

Delhi Congress leader Sandeep Dixit has said that Goyal was expelled from the party two years ago. He said, ‘The first thing is that I congratulate that such a huge consignment was caught. I also got the news that the boy who was caught was once associated with the Youth Congress. He was fired just a year or two ago. It is commendable that someone who is later caught in criminal activity is fired in the first place.

Delhi Police has seized the biggest consignment of drugs till date. Over 560 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of ‘hydroponic marijuana’, estimated to be worth Rs 5,620 crore, has been seized. The Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested four accused from Mahipalpur in South Delhi and seized a consignment weighing 602 kg from them. The arrested persons have been identified as Delhi residents Tushar Goyal (40), Himanshu Kumar (27) and Aurangzeb Siddiqui (23) and Mumbai resident Bharat Kumar Jain (48).
Additional Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) PS Kushwaha said that Goyal, who lives in the posh area of Vasant Vihar, is the main distributor of narcotics in India for this international gang. He told that the other three are his associates. Kushwaha told that Jain had come to Delhi to collect a consignment of 15 kg of cocaine from Goyal, when on October 1, all four were arrested outside a warehouse in Mahipalpur. He said that 22 cartons of banned drugs were found in the warehouse, which contained 547 kg of cocaine and more than 40 kg of ‘hydroponic marijuana’.
