According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, Vande Metro was prepared a few months ago at the Integral Coach Factory. It will be a fully AC train with a top speed of 130 kmph. Like Vande Bharat, its doors will also open automatically and passengers will get more facilities than other trains.

Sources say that this trial run on Saturday will be from Chennai Beach to Katpadi Junction. In this, the Vande Metro train will cover a distance of 130 km. The time of departure of the train from Chennai Beach station is 9:30 am and then some officials will board the train when it reaches Villivakam. However, it is not yet clear whether the country’s first Vande Metro train will run between Chennai Beach and Katpadi station or will be run on some other route.

According to the information, Vande Metro train will have the same facilities as Vande Bharat train. Its features will also be similar to Vande Bharat train. However, there will be no pantry. Actually, this train is being run for short distances, so that one can travel easily from one city to another. There will be seating space for about 100 passengers in a coach. Apart from this, 200 passengers will be able to travel standing.
