When DM sahab himself reached the liquor shop to buy a bottle, why is he getting a lot of praise

In Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun, for a long time, ‘drinkers’ were complaining that they were being charged more than the fixed price for liquor at the liquor shops. Meanwhile, on Wednesday late evening, Dehradun’s DM Savin Bansal himself drove to the Old Mussoorie Road liquor shop. When he bought liquor here, he was charged Rs 20 more from him. He immediately called the excise officer on the spot. The shop operator was fined Rs 50,000. DM sahab’s video is going viral on social media. People are praising the DM’s action.

On the other hand, on the instructions of the DM, the administration officials launched a campaign across the district and overrating was found. DM Savin Bansal said that for a long time he was receiving complaints about overrating and not displaying rates. On which he reached the liquor shop located on Old Mussoorie Road. When he bought liquor after standing in the queue, he was given a bottle worth Rs 660 for Rs 680. On the other hand, ADM Jai Bharat Singh raided Jakhan’s shop where overrating was found. SDM Harigiri reached the Chuna Bhatta shop, overrating was found here too. The manager gave an apology.

The video of DM buying liquor at the liquor shop is going viral on social media. Many users praised the action taken by DM to catch overeating. Many users also said that in their city too, officials should raid liquor shops and take action against those charging illegal prices.

People said, the salesmen are behaving indecently

On the instructions of the DM, ADM Jai Bharat Singh, SDM Har Giri, Shalini Negi raided the place and not only did they get complaints of overrating, people also complained to the officers on the spot about overrating and indecency. They also complained about the behaviour of many salesmen.
