Yashwant Sinha will form a new party in the name of Atal Bihari Vajpayee! Proposal discussed in the meeting

Those interested in politics have their eyes set on Jharkhand. Actually, assembly elections are to be held in the state after a few months. Former CM Champai Soren is now going to leave JMM and join BJP. Lobin Hembram is also waiting for the green signal to join BJP. In such a situation, former Union Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha can form a new party before the elections. Interestingly, the party can be named after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Atal Vichar Manch will be formed soon: Jayant Sinha

According to information, during a meeting with supporters in Hazaribagh on Sunday evening, the proposal to form a new party was discussed. Before leaving for Delhi on Monday, Jayant Sinha said, ‘After consulting with various sections of the society, a final decision will be taken soon on forming Atal Vichar Manch (AVM).’

Discussion on the proposal in the meeting

Sunday’s meeting was chaired by Surendra Kumar Sinha, a former member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) executive. He (Surendra) has been a representative of former BJP MP Jayant Sinha. Supporters of both Jayant and his father Yashwant Sinha attended the meeting. It was in this meeting that the proposal to form a new party was discussed.

Yashwant Sinha, a cabinet minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, won the Hazaribagh Lok Sabha seat in 1998, 1999 and 2009. In the 2004 election, he lost to Communist Party of India (CPI) candidate Bhuvaneshwar Mehta. In 2014, the BJP gave a ticket to Yashwant Sinha’s elder son Jayant Sinha from the Hazaribagh seat. However, in the recently held Lok Sabha elections, Manish Jaiswal was given the ticket in place of Jayant Sinha and Jaiswal won by a margin of 2.76 lakh votes.
