Dwayne Bravo Retirement- Dwayne Bravo, the most successful bowler in the history of T20 cricket and MS Dhoni’s most trusted player in Chennai Super Kings, has announced his retirement from the shortest format of cricket. He will play his last professional T20 tournament in the form of Caribbean Premier League 2024. 40-year-old Bravo has already retired from international cricket and IPL, but he was constantly entertaining his fans in CPL. He informed about his CPL retirement through a post on social media.

Bravo made the announcement hours before Trinbago Knight Riders’ opening match of CPL 2024.
“It’s been an amazing journey. This season will be my last and I’m looking forward to playing my last professional tournament in front of my Caribbean people. TKR is where everything started for me and will end with my team,” Bravo posted on Instagram.
Bravo is also currently the leading wicket-taker in the CPL, with 128 dismissals in 103 matches at an average of 22.40 and an economy rate of 8.69.
Bravo has retired from international cricket three years ago in 2021 and from IPL in 2023. He is working as the bowling coach of CSK in IPL.

Dwayne Bravo has won a total of five titles in the CPL, three of which are with TKR alone. Bravo would like to end his CPL career with another trophy.
Dwayne Bravo holds the world record for taking the most wickets in the history of T20 cricket (630). Apart from him, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is the only player in world cricket who has taken more than 600 wickets in this format. Rashid currently has 613 wickets and he will soon surpass Bravo in this list.
