The building under construction on the pillar turned into rubble as soon as it fell. It is said that warehouses of many pharmaceutical companies were also present in this building. During the accident, many workers were present in the warehouse who got buried under the rubble. Relief and rescue work is going on. So far 28 people have been rescued, out of which four people have died. The remaining 24 injured have been admitted to the hospital. Relief and rescue work is still going on.

According to the information, a building suddenly collapsed on Saturday evening in Transport Nagar, located a few steps away from Shaheed Path. It is believed that there is a lot of water around the building. Due to waterlogging, the foundation of the building became weak. The building was also not being maintained for a long time. Due to this, the building collapsed. Cars and trucks also got buried in the debris of the building. Apart from this, many laborers also got buried in the debris. After the building collapsed, people from the vicinity rushed to the spot. Police also reached on information. At present, SDRF and NDRF teams have reached the spot for relief and rescue work. Relief and rescue work was started in a hurry. So far 28 people have been pulled out of the debris, out of which four people have died, while 24 people are badly injured. DM and Municipal Commissioner reached the spot as soon as the news of the accident was received.

24 people were injured when the building collapsed

After the building collapse in Lucknow, the rescue work has been intensified. The team has safely pulled out 24 people from the rubble. All have been admitted to Lok Bandhu Hospital. Among the people buried under the rubble was an elderly woman, who has suffered severe head injuries. CT scan, X-ray and other tests are being conducted on the woman and others. Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Ajay Shankar Tripathi said that all the injured people are being provided with necessary treatment.
