The Outer Worlds 2 has a helmet in it which, upon wearing, turns the game’s visuals into pixelated arcade-style.
PC Gamer were the first to cover the helmet, which is known as A New Point of View Mk 2. The outlet notes that the helmet “changes the visual style of the game entirely” and is also “relatively” tough to find.
A New Point of View Mk 2 cannot be acquired if players don’t complete one specific collectible quest. After the completion of Paradise Island, players have the choice to go to the Sub Rosa faction base, Free Market Station. PC Gamer says that players should head to the “bazaar” where they have to go to the 2nd Choice saloon and talk to Fionna F. Walker who will then challenge players to compare “Tossball/Pitchball card collections”.
After defeating Fionna F. Walker, players will have access to Walkers inventory, where the helmet will be listed for 6,300 in-game money.
Meanwhile, Brandon Adler, game director of The Outer Worlds 2, recently said that players want “deeper RPGs”.
