Dorohedoro Season 2 Gets April Premiere Date and New Key Visual Ahead of Streaming Release

Dorohedoro Season 2 now has a confirmed release date. The anime will begin streaming on April 1, 2026, and a new key visual has been shared alongside the announcement.

The continuation of the series was first revealed in January 2024, nearly four years after the first season aired. In October 2025, it was confirmed that the sequel would arrive in Spring 2026. This time, the project is being made as an original net animation for streaming instead of a traditional television broadcast.

Dorohedoro centres on Caiman, a man with no memory of his past and the head of a reptile, who teams up with his friend Nikaido to track down the sorcerer responsible for his condition in the filthy, violent district known as Hole. The anime adapts Q Hayashida’s long-running manga, which was serialised between November 2000 and September 2018.

The first season was produced by MAPPA and aired in Japan from January to March 2020 before reaching global audiences on Netflix in May that year.

The first season of Dorohedoro is currently available to stream on Netflix.
