what is the plan

PM Kisan is a central government scheme. Under this scheme, the Modi government gives Rs 6,000 annually as assistance to farmers. This amount is given in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each directly to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This scheme was launched in December 2018. In the 16th installment of PM Kisan Yojana, more than 93 crore farmers received Rs 2000.

What farmers have to do to get the 18th installment-

Let us tell you that eKYC is mandatory for PMKISAN registered farmers. Beneficiaries will have to complete the paperwork including the e-Know Your Customer (KYC) process.

Follow these steps to complete the eKYC process for PM Kisan:-

– For this, first go to the official website: https://pmkisan.gov.in

– Click on ‘eKYC’ option under “Farmer Corner” section.

-Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number in the required field.

– Click on the ‘Search’ button.

– Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

– Click on ‘Submit’ button to complete the eKYC process.

– You can also complete the eKYC process at the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) by providing your Aadhaar number and undergoing biometric authentication.

How to check the status of PM-Kisan installment-

Visit the PM-Kisan website.

On the homepage, go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section.

Click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ option.

Enter registered Aadhaar number or bank account number.

Click on the ‘Get Data’ button.

The status of your PM-Kisan installment will start appearing on the screen.
