Rain Alert: Heavy rains are continuing across the country. The Meteorological Department has said that heavy to very heavy rains are going to occur in Northeast India for the next two days. After that it will decrease, that is, after two days, Northeast India is expected to get some relief from heavy rains. Apart from this, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka are going to receive very heavy rains between July 12-15.
Talking about the last 24 hours, Meghalaya received very heavy rains, while Konkan, Goa, Uttarakhand, Assam received heavy rains. At the same time, heavy rains have also been recorded in eastern Rajasthan, western Uttar Pradesh, western Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Yanam, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, South Interior Karnataka and coastal Karnataka.
According to the Meteorological Department, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Karnataka, Gujarat, Saurashtra, Kutch, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Rayalaseema will receive light to moderate rain for the next five days. Heavy rains can also be recorded at some places. Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha will receive rain for the next five days. A warning of thunderstorms and lightning has also been issued.
Talking about the weather of North India, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Rajasthan will receive heavy rains for the next five days. There is also an alert for thunderstorms and lightning. Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi are expected to receive rain between 11 and 14 July.
Apart from this, heavy rains are expected in Uttarakhand, Western Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh on July 11-15, Eastern Uttar Pradesh on July 11-14, Eastern Madhya Pradesh on July 12-15, Western UP, Punjab on July 11 and 12, Himachal Pradesh on July 11-13, Jammu on July 12 and 13, Northern Haryana on July 12, Eastern Rajasthan on July 11 and 15 and Vidarbha on July 13-15.
