Apple could provide iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max with up to 40W fast wired charging

American devices maker Apple’s iPhone 16 series may be launched soon. The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max of this series may have better wired and MagSafe wireless charging speeds than the iPhone 15 Pro models introduced last year.

According to a report by ITHome, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will have support for 40 W wired charging and 20 W wireless charging using MagSafe. The iPhone 15 series featured a USB Type-C port. However, both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro had support for a peak charging speed of 27 W with a compatible USB charger. Apple claims that all variants of the iPhone 15 series can be charged up to 50 percent in 30 minutes using a power adapter of 20 W or more.

Tetaprism 5x zoom lens can be given in Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. Apple used this lens in the iPhone 15 Pro Max introduced last year. According to a report by DigitTimes in Asia, the company plans to increase the use of periscope lenses in the upcoming iPhone 16 series. Because of this, some suppliers of this lens have been given more orders for them. Taiwanese lens module manufacturers Largan Precision and Genius Electronic Optical can be the major suppliers for tetraprism camera components.

The iPhone 16 Pro models may have a 48-megapixel primary camera and an ultra wide-angle camera with optical zoom capabilities. The iPhone 16 Pro Max may have a 48-megapixel Sony IMX903 primary camera and the iPhone 16 Pro may have a Sony IMX803 camera. All models of the iPhone 16 series may have the A18 chip. Recently, supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that Apple has prepared to increase the energy density of the battery in the iPhone 16 series. This will make the battery of these smartphones last longer. The battery in these can be in a stainless steel case. This will also help Apple comply with the European Union’s rule of replaceable batteries in smartphones.
