The report said that because Validation is held by the parent firm, Transcen Holdings, Itel’s subsidiaries Tecno and Infinix could also eventually introduce the smart ring.

The itel Ring app will show users a composite data of things like steps, distance covered and calories burned. The listing reveals that the app will come with preset exercise modes like walking, running, and cycling. The app may also give users the option to enable or disable automatic heart health monitoring. Higher battery consumption is expected when this feature is turned on.
