Redmi A4 5G India launch date, price, and specifications (expected)
Xiaomi India launched a Post Redmi A4 5G confirmed to launch in India on November 20. Along with its color options, the company has also teased some key specifications. Redmi A4 5G will be offered in white and black color options. As we mentioned, Xiaomi had said at IMC 2024 that it will launch in India under Rs 10,000. At the same time, it was claimed in a leak that with the launch offer and bank discount, the price of Redmi A4 5G in India is going to be Rs 8,499.
Redmi A4 5G microsite on Xiaomi’s India online store and Amazon India Live Has been done. Some main specifications of the phone have also been teased here. Redmi A4 5G will be launched with Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC. This is said to be the world’s first phone with this chipset. The official microsite reveals that the phone will come with a 6.88-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate supported.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi A4 5G will get a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit. The design in the teaser suggests that the phone will have a circular rear camera module, while there will be a hole-punch cutout on the display for the front camera. It has a 5,160mAh battery with fast charging support.
At the same time, if leaks are to be believed, the handset will support 18W wired charging and will ship with Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0 skin. The phone is likely to have an 8-megapixel front camera. At the same time, leaks say that it can have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port.
