A Samsung smartphone with model number SM-M166P has been tested on Geekbench. The listing is by 91Mobiles spot Was done. The report says that this is the Galaxy M16 5G, which has also been spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance with the same model number. The phone was tested on Geekbench with 7.29GB RAM and Android 14. It scored 552 in single-core and 1611 in multi-core test.
The listing hints at the phone having an octa-core processor, with six cores clocked at 2GHz and the other two cores clocked at 2.40GHz. The chipset was accompanied by Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, which points towards it being a MediaTek chipset. It has been speculated in the report that this could be the Dimensity 6300 SoC, which also powers the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G.
The alleged Samsung Galaxy M16 5G model has also been spotted in the Geekbench ML database, which is meant to test the AI performance of the device. Here the device has achieved a score of 469.
It is believed that since the M-series models mostly come with the specifications of the A-series models, then probably this alleged Galaxy M16 5G will also have similar specifications to the Galaxy A16 5G. Let us tell you that the latter includes a 90Hz 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, 13-megapixel selfie camera, 50-megapixel main rear camera and 25W charging support.
Even though Samsung Galaxy M15 5G and Galaxy A15 5G All specifications remain the same, but the M15 includes a larger battery. It is possible that the upcoming M-series models may come with a larger 6,000mAh battery instead of the 5,000mAh battery present in the Galaxy A16 5G.
