Is Uddhav surrendering before Pawar or doing pressure politics? He gave a big statement on MVA’s CM candidate

The opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in Maharashtra has started preparations for the assembly elections. Talks are currently going on between Shiv Sena (Uttar Pradesh), NCP (Sharad Pawar) and Congress regarding seat sharing. Amidst all this, Uddhav Thackeray has made a big statement on Friday regarding the Chief Minister candidate. The former CM has said that whoever is made the CM candidate by Congress and Sharad Pawar’s NCP, his party will support him unconditionally. However, he has also placed a condition. His condition can increase the problems of both the constituent parties. This can also be seen as pressure politics.

Uddhav Thackeray stressed during an MVA meeting that the Maharashtra Assembly elections to be held later this year will be a fight to protect the self-respect of the state.

Thackeray said, “There is speculation about the MVA’s CM face. I appeal to all the leaders of the alliance. Be it Prithviraj Chavan or Sharad Pawar, they should announce their choice for CM and I will support them unconditionally.”

What is Uddhav’s condition?
He urged the MVA allies to first announce the chief ministerial candidate and then start campaigning. “We used to follow the rule that whoever wins more seats will get the CM post. In earlier alliances too, we followed the same formula. So I appeal that first we have to announce the CM face and only then can we start our campaign,” he asserted.

Let us tell you that Uddhav Thackeray broke ties with NDA due to his insistence on becoming the Chief Minister. After this, he formed MVA along with Congress and Shiv Sena and became the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
