Who will be the new Chief Minister of Delhi? 60 MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party are going to put their stamp on Arvind Kejriwal’s successor. There are at least half a dozen names in the race for the CM post. Party sources say that Kejriwal can surprise everyone once again with his decision. There is a discussion that he can make a Dalit face the CM, who is not in the media discussion right now. Kejriwal can also give a big responsibility to Rakhi Birla or Kuldeep Kumar.

There has been no indication from the Aam Aadmi Party yet as to who will be the next Chief Minister. At present, the names of Kejriwal’s ministers Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Gopal Rai and Kailash Gehlot are being discussed. There is also a lot of speculation about Kejriwal’s wife Sunita. However, party sources say that just before the assembly elections, Kejriwal can make such a leader the CM who will also benefit in the form of votes.

According to Hindustan Steam, two AAP leaders, on the condition of anonymity, said that the next Chief Minister could be someone from the current cabinet or MLAs. Another AAP leader did not rule out the possibility of a surprise face. He said, ‘There is a discussion that a Dalit leader or a completely surprising face could be the next Chief Minister.’

Will you bet on Kuldeep Kumar?

It is possible that Kejriwal may bet on Kuldeep Kumar. Kuldeep Kumar, who comes from the Dalit community, is an MLA from Kondli. The party had fielded him as a candidate from East Delhi Lok Sabha seat during the Lok Sabha elections. The party had called it a historic step by fielding a Scheduled Caste leader from a general seat. Kuldeep Kumar comes from a very ordinary background. His father is a sanitation worker in the MCD and is still seen sweeping the streets of Delhi. The party had promoted this vigorously during the Lok Sabha elections.
