During the ongoing presidential election campaign in the US, a deadly attack has been made on former US President Trump. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed concern over this attack on Trump. On the social media platform X, PM Modi wrote that I am worried about the attack on my friend former President Trump. I condemn this attack. There is no place for such violence in politics and democracy. I wish him a speedy recovery. Our prayers are with his family and the American people.
Former US President Trump was attacked during a rally, in which a man sitting on a building far away shot Trump with a rifle. The bullet went straight and touched Trump’s ear, after which there was chaos in the rally. Trump saved himself by bending on the stage, by then his security personnel came to him for his safety. While Trump was being taken away, blood was clearly visible from near his ear, but it did not seem to affect Trump’s enthusiasm, he showed himself strong by waving his hands in the air.
The attacker was killed instantly
After the attack, the security personnel killed the attacker sitting on the roof of the building within a few minutes and started searching the place. According to eyewitnesses present there, about 3 to 4 rounds of bullets were fired towards Trump, one of which grazed his ear.
Trump is out of danger
Donald Trump is currently said to be out of danger. The bullet passed through Trump’s right ear. Trump has thanked the security agencies for their quick action. Currently, Trump has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
