Bluegen has introduced one of its latest tablets for crowdfunding, the biggest feature of which is its dual-screen design. This is an Android tablet, which includes an octa-core Qualcomm processor with 4GB RAM and 7,000mAh battery. The tablet has a 7.8-inch E Ink screen, which is paired with an 8.9-inch IPS LCD panel. Along with general usage, it also works as an e-book reader. It has hinges, through which the tablet can be folded like a book.

Bluegen has put this dual-screen tablet called OKpad up for crowdfunding on Kickstarter Live There is a Super Early Bird Special offer for the first 100 supporters, which is priced at $199 (about Rs 16,600). This is a 50 percent discount on the original price. After this, the price will be $249 (about Rs 20,800) for the next 200 supporters and a Kickstarter Special price of $299 (about Rs 25,000). Its launch price is said to be $399 (about Rs 33,500) after the campaign ends. Shipping is expected to start from August 2024.

The BlueGen OkeyPad dual-screen tablet features an 8.9-inch IPS LCD display along with a 7.8-inch e-ink screen. With this combination, the tablet can be used for entertainment as well as an e-reader. Both screens are touch-enabled and the e-ink display has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The device also features a 360-degree hinge, which allows switching between different modes including a traditional laptop setup, tent mode for reading, or a pure e-reader experience.

The OKPad runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The tablet runs on Android 10 operating system.
