DY Chandrachud News: The film ‘Missing Ladies’ will be screened in the Supreme Court today as part of a special initiative. This film will be shown to judges, their family members and registry officers. This film has been highly praised by critics and is based on the subject of gender equality. According to a message issued by the Administrative Section of the Supreme Court, apart from famous actor and producer Aamir Khan, the film’s director Kiran Rao will also be present during the screening. This idea of ​​watching the film was of Justice Chandrachud’s wife Kalpana Das. She watched the film with her staff.

A message issued by the Administrative Section of the Supreme Court said that as part of the activities organized during the 75th year of the establishment of the Supreme Court of India, the film ‘Missing Ladies’ based on the theme of gender equality will be screened in the auditorium located in C-Block of the Administrative Building Complex on Friday, August 9, 2024. As per the schedule, Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and other judges of the Supreme Court will arrive to watch the film along with their family members. The film will be shown from 4:15 pm to 6:20 pm.

Justice Chandrachud said that this is my attempt to sensitize the Supreme Court staff. He said that a lot of things are happening in the Supreme Court, which are not getting much publicity. According to the Bar and Bench report, he said that an Ayurvedic clinic is being run for the Supreme Court staff members. Here the Supreme Court staff members are treated 24 hours a day.
