AAP Kisan Wing President shot dead in Punjab, was returning home from the farm in the evening

A major incident has come to light in Khanna, Punjab. Trilochan Singh, a resident of village Iklaha, was shot dead late on Monday evening. Trilochan Singh was the president of the Aam Aadmi Party Kisan Wing in Khanna. On receiving information about the incident, Khanna SSP Saurav Jindal reached the spot with the police team and started the investigation. SSP Khanna Ashwini Gotyal said that the CCTV cameras around the crime scene are being scanned. The accused will be caught soon.

Tarlochan Singh was returning home from his farm on Monday evening. On the way, some unknown people shot at him, killing him on the spot. As soon as the incident was known, the family and the villagers reached the spot and took Trilochan Singh to Khanna Government Hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. The deceased’s son Harpreet Singh Happy said that someone killed his father due to enmity. The police have registered a case against the unknown attackers and started searching for them.

Recently, the Punjab Cabinet has amended the Punjab Panchayat Rules. Now the elections of Sarpanch and Panch will not be held on the election symbol of political parties.
