Under the deal, Indkal will design, manufacture and distribute these smartphones. That is, the name will be of Acer and the smartphones will be manufactured by Indkal. These smartphones will be launched in the range of Rs 15 thousand to Rs 50 thousand.
The company is going to compete with brands like Oppo, Vivo, Tecno, and OnePlus. At the same time, dominant players like Xiaomi and Samsung are already present in the segment.
