The world has not yet fully recovered from the corona pandemic and another deadly disease has attacked in the form of an epidemic. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a health emergency regarding monkeypox for the second consecutive year in two years. This declaration was made after the terrible infection of the epidemic in the African country Congo. The effect of monkeypox is 160 percent more this time than last year and it has started from Congo and has knocked in 13 other countries as well. So far this year, more than 517 people have died from monkeypox.
The effect of monkeypox has spread so much in African countries that it is now taking the form of an epidemic. The World Health Organization has also expressed concern about this disease. WHO says that the infection of this disease is much higher than last year. This year the infection is up to 160 percent compared to last year. According to the African Center for Disease Control and Prevention, so far this year more than 17000 cases have been reported and at least 571 people have died.
