Apple May Launch Two Foldables in 2026 an iPad MacBook Hybrid and iPhone

Then Chinese companies tried their hand and now even Google has launched foldable phones. However, Apple did not let this pressure overwhelm itself and kept upgrading iPhones. Now a market analyst believes that things can change very soon. According to him, Apple is planning to introduce two foldable devices in the year 2026. The first of these devices could be an iPad-MacBook hybrid.

Jeff Pu, an analyst with Haitong International Securities Group (9to5Mac According to investor notes from Apple (via Apple Inc.), Apple plans to enter the foldable device market with the launch of two devices in 2026. The first device is expected to be a hybrid of two popular Apple devices – the iPad and the MacBook. It is said to have an 18.8-inch display when unfolded.

The second device is being said to be a foldable iPhone. This claim of the investor note also confirms previous reports, which said that the company is developing a foldable iPhone which could debut with the iPhone 18 series in 2026. It may have a clamshell design like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Pew Research’s note also suggests that the iPad-MacBook hybrid will be the first foldable to be launched by Apple in the second quarter of 2026. Earlier it was said that its mass production would start next year, but analysts claim that this may not happen now.

It is being said that the iPad-MacBook hybrid will debut in 2026 after the foldable iPhone model. Earlier it was speculated that it would be launched in the second half of this year with the iPhone 18 series. The foldable iPhone is reported to have a 7.9-inch or 8.3-inch display. Samsung can be made the primary supplier for the display.
