Army foils infiltration in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, kills 2 terrorists

Army officials informed on Monday that the soldiers have foiled an infiltration attempt on the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Two terrorists were killed in the encounter. The firing started late Sunday night in the Lam sector of Nowshera. They said that a massive search operation is being carried out as it is suspected that some more terrorists may have been killed in the firing.

Infiltration attempt failed under the cover of darkness

Officials said that the army personnel guarding the Line of Control sensed the movement of terrorists trying to infiltrate under the cover of darkness and challenged them. After which an encounter started between the army and the terrorists. They said that the search operation has started in the area with the first light of the morning. The area is being closely monitored.
