Haryana Election Survey: The Election Commission has announced the assembly elections in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. Voting will be held in three phases in Jammu and Kashmir and in one phase in Haryana, while the results of both states will be announced on October 4. However, this time a close contest can be seen.
According to the survey of Times Now and Matrise, the BJP alliance can get a maximum of 35.2 percent votes, while Congress can get 31.6 percent, JJP 12.4 percent and others 20.8 percent votes. The majority figure in Haryana is 46, but no party seems to be getting that many seats. According to the survey, the BJP alliance can get 37-42 seats, Congress 33-38, JJP three to eight and others seven to 12 seats. This means that this time again JJP’s Dushyant Chautala can play an important role in forming the government.
Talking about the sample size, more than 23 thousand people have been talked to for the survey, which includes men, women and first time voters. Voters were asked how was Naib Singh Saini’s performance as Chief Minister? On this, 40% said it was very good, 21% said it was average, 24% said it was not good and 15% said they can’t say. When asked about Dushyant Chautala, what will be his role? On this, 24% said that they will go with the BJP alliance before or after the elections, while 44% said that they can go with the Congress, while 22% said that Dushyant Chautala will not be a part of any alliance.
What are the important issues of Haryana elections? On this, 39% said CM candidate, 26% said alliance, 23% people agreed on the issue of farmers. Apart from this, which face is the favourite for the post of CM? On this question, most people voted for Nayab Singh Saini (29%), Bhupinder Singh Hooda (27%) and Dushyant Chautala (9%). Agniveer scheme is also a big issue in Haryana. A question related to this was also asked in the survey. It was asked whether you support Rahul Gandhi’s decision to cancel Agniveer scheme? On this, 29% answered yes, while 56% answered no. Apart from this, there were 15% people who said that they cannot say.
