K-Tai Watch Impress Japan recently published a report share In which it has been confirmed that ROG Phone 9 will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This is expected to provide high performance gaming capabilities. Other smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Elite have scored well on benchmarks so far, so it can be expected that the phone will perform better than its previous model. Apart from this, it is also being said that due to the new processor the phone will reduce its power consumption by 30 percent.

Recently, hands on video of the smartphone has also been leaked. It has been revealed to have a more premium build and is expected to come with improvements in materials and design compared to the previous model. However, the overall design will remain the same as ROG Phone 8. Not much information has been released yet about design changes and other features. Earlier, ROG Phone 9 Pro was seen on China Quality Certification Center (CQC) listing with 65W charging. Asus has focused only on the gaming part for a long time, now it can improve things like air triggers and heat management.

ASUS ROG Phone 8 has a 6.78-inch LTPO Samsung E6 AMOLED display, whose refresh rate is 165Hz. This smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, with which Adreno 750 GPU is provided. It has 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 inbuilt storage. Talking about camera setup, the rear of ROG Phone 8 has a triple camera system with 50 megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor. There is a 32 megapixel front camera for selfie and video calls. This phone has a 5,500mAh battery which supports 65W fast charging. Additional gaming oriented features include responsive AirTrigger buttons and a high quality 5 magnet speaker system. This phone is equipped with IP68 rating for protection against dust and water.
