Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has sent Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation to President Draupadi Murmu for approval. He has also proposed September 21 for Kejriwal’s successor Atishi to take oath as Delhi’s CM. Sources aware of this development gave this information on Wednesday. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party has said that it will organize rallies in Delhi in which Arvind Kejriwal will take feedback from the public.

Sources said that Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has proposed September 21 as the date for the swearing-in of the nominated Chief Minister Atishi in a letter sent to President Draupadi Murmu. Not only this, the LG has also sent the resignation of outgoing CM Arvind Kejriwal to President Murmu.

However, no date has been proposed by the AAP Legislature Party for the swearing-in ceremony of the nominated CM. Let us tell you that a day earlier on Tuesday, Kejriwal had submitted his resignation to the Lieutenant Governor. Not only this, Atishi had also staked claim to form the new government in Delhi.

Meanwhile, officials said that Atishi can be provided ‘Z’ category security. An official said that a decision on Atishi’s security cover will be taken in the next few days. Under the current protocol, ‘Z’ category security is provided to the CM of Delhi.

Delhi Police deploys around 22 personnel in shifts under this category. Delhi Police will also review Kejriwal’s security as he has resigned. Kejriwal has been given Z Plus security. Under this, around 40 security personnel are provided to Kejriwal in one shift.

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party leader Sandeep Pathak said that the party will hold rallies in Delhi, in which Arvind Kejriwal will interact with people and take feedback from the people on his honesty. An announcement about these rallies will be made today or tomorrow. Kejriwal did not resign while in jail to save democracy and the Constitution. He has now resigned because of his ideals. The BJP is toppling governments everywhere. Kejriwal foiled the BJP’s plan by not resigning while in jail.
