Quilted seats were given in the new Chetak 3201 Special Edition. Its top-end variant has Brooklyn Black paint. Its ARAI certified range is 136 kilometers on a single charge. It can reach a top speed of 73 kmph. It has features like Bluetooth connectivity, color TFT instrument console and auto hazard light through Chetak app. The company had said that the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS) has been approved by the Ministry of Heavy Industries of the Central Government for Chetak Premium, Chetak Urbane (3202) and the new Chetak 3201 Special Edition.
Bajaj Auto launched the world’s first CNG-powered motorcycle Freedom 125 in July. The company has reduced the price of this motorcycle. Its price has been reduced by Rs 10,000. Its starting price at launch was around Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom). The cost of running this motorcycle is 50 percent less than that of petrol-powered motorcycles.
More than 35,000 units of the Freedom 125 have been sold since its launch. However, the company has not given the reason for reducing its price. The price of its entry-level variant Drum has been reduced by approximately Rs 5,000. The company has reduced the price of Drum LED variant of Freedom 125 the most by about Rs 10,000. The range of Freedom 125 is about 330 kilometers. It has a two kilogram CNG tank and a two liter petrol tank. Its CNG tank is under the seat. It will be available in three variants of Drum, Drum LED and Disc LED and seven dual-tone colors.
