Paris Olympics 2024 Live: India has started its campaign with archery in the Paris Olympics 2024. At present the women’s event is going on in which Deepika Kumari, Bhajan Kaur and Ankita Bhakt are participating.
The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics is scheduled to be held tomorrow i.e. on 26th July, but in this great sporting event, there are some events which start earlier. In this series, India is also going to start its campaign with archery from today i.e. 25th July. A total of 6 archers of India – 3 men and 3 women – will be seen in action. During this time, everyone’s eyes will be on former number-1 Deepika Kumari. This is going to be Deepika’s fourth Olympics, she will be eyeing her first Olympic medal.
India will begin their 2024 Paris Olympics with women’s archery, with Bhajan Kaur, Ankita Bhakat and Deepika Kumari in action. This will be followed by the men’s event, which will see B. Dheeraj, Tarundeep Rai and Praveen Jadhav participating.
Only recurve archery takes place in the Olympics. The seeding of the archers will be decided on the basis of the ranking round.
