The political temperature is heating up after the change of president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bihar. BJP’s new state president Dilip Jaiswal has made it clear that the 2025 Bihar assembly elections will be fought under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He completely rejected the speculation of contesting the upcoming elections on any face of BJP. Jaiswal also said that he has good relations with people of every party. If it were up to him, he would end all the parties and run Bihar with just one party.

The BJP high command handed over the command of the party in Bihar to Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dilip Jaiswal late on Thursday night. Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary has been relieved from the post of president. Jaiswal said in a conversation with the media on Friday that he had no hope of being made the president. He did not know about this till Thursday night, suddenly he got the news at 11 o’clock.

Regarding the strategy for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, BJP’s new state president Dilip Jaiswal said that his aim is to further strengthen the party and NDA in the state. He said that in the recently held Lok Sabha elections, NDA was ahead by a huge margin in 174 assembly constituencies of Bihar. Praising Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he said that whenever elections were fought under the leadership of the CM, NDA moved ahead. There is no challenge in front of him.

Speaking on the role of Samrat Chaudhary, Jaiswal said that he is the leader of the legislative party in the House. He will continue to perform the responsibility of Deputy Chief Minister and Leader of the Legislative Party. He hit back at the opposition and said that RJD people have no work. They should look inside themselves instead of peeping into others’ houses.
