Blackmagic Camera now available on Google Play

Today Blackmagic Design has officially announced the release of Blackmagic Camera 1.1 version update for Android Announcement Now more devices including Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 14, OnePlus 11, OnePlus 12, Samsung Galaxy S21 and S22, Google Pixel 6, 6 Pro and 6a will support the app.
The new version will allow users to see what they are shooting on a larger screen, helping them adjust focus and exposure more precisely. It can also be connected to multiple monitors so everyone on set can see the recording. The update also adds follow focus control to the camera, allowing users to change the focus point of the lens during continuous shooting, which can gradually shift focus between 3 preset focus points in the foreground or background. Thus, it can help users draw attention to multiple elements of the picture.
The new update also supports syncing media directly to a Blackmagic Cloud Organization account, allowing customers to choose to sync media to either their personal account or their company’s organizational account while logged in, speeding up workflows. It also allows users to dim the screen while recording, apply noise reduction or sharpening to captured photos, and use 3D LUTs while recording. It also allows users to easily adjust various parameters such as frame rate, shutter angle, white balance, and ISO.
