Fayyaz Ali had also fired bullets at the then MP candidate and senior BJP leader Uma Bharti in 1998, on which a case was registered and he was later acquitted. Haji Shahzad Ali’s fourth brother’s name is Imtiaz Ali who deals in burnt oil and old tyres.
The police have made Haji Ali’s four brothers the main accused in the stone pelting case and Chhatarpur police is actively searching for Haji Ali’s three brothers. Chhatarpur SP Agam Jain says that we hope that soon the police will arrest all the accused. Currently, Haji Ali is in three-day police remand and during the remand he is revealing many secrets.
