In Maharashtra, a 55 year old school principal lost his life due to a blast in his mobile phone (via)Went. Suresh Sangrame, the principal working in the Zilla Parishad school, was going on his motorcycle. Another person was also sitting on the bike behind him. While walking, the phone in my pocket exploded. The model is reportedly said to be CMF Phone 1. Due to the blast, an accident occurred and death occurred. The incident is said to have taken place near Sangadi in Sakoli taluka.
Sangrame had a one month old CMF Phone 1. 56 year old Nathu Gaikwad was also sitting on the motorcycle with Sangrame. Both the persons were going to a family function. Meanwhile the phone exploded. During this, Gaikwad fell from the bike and got injured. According to the report, his treatment is still going on. On the other hand, Sangrame got seriously burnt and injured in the fire caused by the blast. He died during treatment in the hospital.
The real reason behind the mobile phone blast is not yet known. But reports are saying that the blast in the phone was caused due to overheating of the mobile phone battery. The police are still investigating the reason why the phone exploded.
Mobile phone experts also say that such blasts occur due to defects in the battery. Overcharging the battery, using an unauthorized charger or local charger, or placing the phone in an extremely hot object or environment can also cause the phone to explode. Users should keep all these things in mind.
