Like Uttar Pradesh and other parts of the country, now a case of conspiracy to derail a train has come to light in Gujarat as well. However, luckily, due to the alertness of the railway staff, no major accident was averted.

Western Railway, Vadodara Division released a video of this on Saturday and said that some unknown person opened the fish plate and some keys from the UP line track near Kim railway station and kept it on the same track, after which the train movement was stopped. However, soon the train service started on the line.

According to a Bhasha report, just two days ago, miscreants in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, placed an old six-meter long iron pole used for laying telephone wires on the railway track. However, the accident was averted when the driver of the Dehradun Express train applied emergency brakes. Railway officials said that the incident took place near Rudrapur City Railway Station, about 43 kilometers from Rampur. On the complaint of Rajendra Kumar, Railway Engineer of Rudrapur City Section, a case has been registered against an unknown person in the Government Railway Police Station of Rampur.

In a similar incident in Farrukhabad on August 24, a thick wooden log was placed on the track near Bhatasa railway station on the Kasganj-Farrukhabad railway track, due to which a passenger train was stopped due to collision with it.

In view of such incidents occurring every day, along with the railway staff, the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the local police are also being very vigilant.
