After the release of the first list of BJP for Haryana assembly elections, the candidates denied ticket have started opening a front against the party. Deepak Dagar broke down in tears in front of hundreds of his supporters on Thursday after not getting a ticket from BJP from Prithala assembly constituency. During this, he claimed that whatever decision the Maha Panchayat to be held in village Jajru on September 7 will take, he will accept it.
On not seeing his name in the list of candidates, Deepak Dagar held a meeting of his supporters at his office in Kaili village on Thursday. During this, prominent people of the area held a meeting and expressed their displeasure over this decision of the BJP top leadership and demanded a change in the ticket. They said that Deepak Dagar was a strong contender for the ticket, but at the last moment the party has demoralized the people of the area by giving the ticket to an outsider. In the meeting, Deepak Dagar, a ticket contender, became emotional and started crying profusely.
He said that the candidate who has got the BJP ticket is an outsider. Therefore, he will not support him. However, the party has not yet announced its candidate for the NIT Faridabad seat.
Not a single form was filled on the first day
The District Election Officer issued a notification on Thursday for the Haryana Assembly elections. Along with this, the process of filing nominations for the candidates contesting the elections also started from Thursday. No candidate filed nomination on the first day today for the six assembly seats of Faridabad district. On the other hand, the police have tightened security around the offices of Assistant Election Officers for security. Barricading has been done to stop the crowd and vehicles. District Election Officer Vikram Singh said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, notification has been issued on Thursday, September 05, 2024 for the six assembly constituencies of Faridabad district of the state.
Moolchand Sharma will file his nomination from Ballabhgarh today
BJP candidate from Ballabhgarh, Moolchand Sharma will file his nomination papers at the Mini Secretariat on Friday afternoon. Before this, he will participate in the havan at Sector-2 office at 9:00 am. After this, he will reach the Mini Secretariat at 12:30 pm via foot march from the main market. On Thursday, he offered prayers at Siddh Peeth Baba Hriday Ram Mandir.
